Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and skilled District Manager to lead the operations of several Taco Bell locations within the San Diego and Oceanside regions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in guiding a team of restaurant managers, ensuring that each outlet adheres to Taco Bell's esteemed standards of quality, customer service, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage 5-6 restaurant locations effectively.
  • Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies.
  • Coach and mentor various management levels to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees and monitor training programs to maintain high training quality.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on employee relations issues, including hiring and terminations.
  • Foster a safe environment for all employees and customers.
  • Identify and address chronic maintenance issues across locations.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate staffing levels, ensuring full management coverage for each location.
  • Promote a focus on top-line sales through operational excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to operational procedures at all times.
  • Lead initiatives for employee recognition and motivation across the market.
  • Work closely with General Managers to establish and achieve sales targets.
  • Provide leadership to managers to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Assist managers with employee relations and proactively address market needs.
  • Utilize reports to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Revise and implement policies as necessary.
  • Supervise cross-departmental staff and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of successful operational management experience in the Quick Service Restaurant or retail sector.
  • Basic business math and accounting skills with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Dynamic and positive leader with a proactive approach to achieving results.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Proven track record in enhancing customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee engagement.
  • Strong leadership abilities in coaching, team development, and driving a positive culture.
  • Availability for a minimum 50-hour work week.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 10-40 pounds, reach with arms and hands, and stand or walk for extended periods.
