Parking Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Parking Attendant to join our team at San Jose Arena Management LP. As a Parking Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests by overseeing the arrival and parking of vehicles in our lots.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Interaction: Consistently greet guests as they approach the parking area, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Parking Operations: Cashier and sell parking tickets, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the parking area, including setting up and tearing down cones and delineators for traffic control.
- Security and Access Control: Control admission to the parking lots by checking credentials, ensuring only authorized individuals gain access.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all guests, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Event-Based Scheduling: Shifts are event-based, with start times typically two to four hours prior to the event and ending one hour after the event.
- Availability: Must be available to work 2/3rds of the scheduled events for each month, including weekends. Most shifts are evenings and weekends, with some holidays.
- Uniform and Appearance: Must be able to wear the company-assigned uniform during all shifts.
- Background Check: Must clear a background check.
- Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to de-escalate situations.
- Teamwork: Must be a team player, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Cultural Competence: Must be able to work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to work in outdoor conditions, with the ability to stand for long periods, walk for extended periods, and lift up to 15 pounds.
