Job Summary

We're looking for a results-focused embedded systems Senior Display Engineer to design and develop firmware for our electrophoretic display controllers. As part of our collaborative development team, you'll be instrumental in developing software for controllers from the ground up, focusing on managing algorithm complexity, precise timing generation, and cross-platform compilation.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop firmware in C/C++ for electrophoretic display controllers
  • Optimize code for computational efficiency and real-time performance
  • Develop Linux drivers with low-latency for pen/touch control of displays
  • Develop and implement complex algorithms with a focus on minimizing runtime
  • Compile and test code across multiple SoC platforms, ensuring compatibility and stability
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with FPGA-based systems
  • Manage high-speed memory operations to ensure reliable and efficient data handling
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with Linux development
  • Proven experience in embedded software development with expert level proficiency in C/C++ or similar real-time embedded programming languages
  • Deep understanding of optimization techniques for compute time and algorithm efficiency
  • Experience with FPGA programming and high-speed memory management
  • Working knowledge of software design patterns and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proactive approach to project management and innovation
