Key Responsibilities- Operate CT Equipment: Safely and effectively operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare Patients: Prepare patients for scans, ensuring their comfort, safety, and compliance with procedure requirements.
- Collaborate with Radiologists: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and analyze imaging results.
- Ensure Accurate Documentation: Accurately document procedures, patient information, and imaging records.
- Certification: Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licensure: State licensure to practice as a CT Technologist in Texas
