Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate office services and related activities, ensuring compliance with our Patient Centered Pledge.
  • Interact professionally with physicians, physician offices, and Centralized Scheduling.
  • Operate multiple computer systems effectively and assist with supply acquisition.
  • Perform diagnostic cardiovascular examinations per physician orders and department protocols.
  • Generate preliminary reports for physician interpretation and review physician reports, charts, and charges electronically.
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Interact with Cardiologists and referring physicians regarding critical findings.
  • Exhibit excellent critical thinking skills and work independently with outstanding work ethics and integrity.
  • Perform non-ultrasound tests including stress tests, ambulatory cardiac monitoring, and EKGs.
  • Collaborate with outlying medical facilities to provide cardiac monitoring services.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma
  • Minimum Work Experience: 1 year on-the-job training or graduate of an accredited ultrasound school.
  • Required Licenses/Certifications:
    • RDCS or RCS in adult echo and RVT or RVS in vascular ultrasound or one of these in combination with another ultrasound registry.
    • BLS - should not initiate patient contact until completed.
  • Supervisory skills, including the ability to teach and train.
  • Proficient in performing all diagnostic cardiovascular procedures available in Non-Invasive Cardiology.
  • Mastery of all equipment, including ultrasound systems, PVR, BP monitors, and computer systems.
  • Attend required training programs and staff meetings and complete computer-based learning lessons.
