Comprehensive Life Resources is seeking a qualified LPN to join our team at the Youth Residential Treatment facility in Tacoma, WA. As a member of our organization, you will provide nursing and medical services to residents while maintaining a therapeutic relationship.

Job Description

This role involves administering medications, documenting patient care, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery. You will also be responsible for providing education on prescribed medication and medical treatment to residents and their families.

  • Administer and document medications according to state and program guidelines
  • Provide emergency medical care as needed
  • Assist residents with daily living activities and monitor their progress
  • Document medical information and maintain accurate records

In addition to these responsibilities, you will participate in multi-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and evaluate individually tailored care plans for each resident. Your role will involve interacting professionally with team members and supporting the overall goals of the program.

Requirements
  • WA State Registered LPN
  • One-year work experience with children and/or adolescents
  • Experience or knowledge of psychotropic medications
  • CPR certification
