Sterile Processing Department Manager

Salary: $22.14 - $28.78 / hour, based on relevant experience.
Job Description
As a Sterile Processing Department Manager, you will lead team members of an assigned area or function by demonstrating and providing advanced knowledge of job responsibilities. This role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
- Mentor, monitor, coach, and evaluate team members' performance, focusing on productivity and quality management.
- Coordinate services, prioritize assignments, and workflow, promoting situational decision-making/problem-solving.
- Take responsibility for handling complex or novel issues, providing guidance to team members as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician).
- 2 years of sterile processing experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
