Position Overview

The Holiday Inn Express Green Mountain Drive is seeking a dedicated and professional individual to fill the role of Front Desk Receptionist. This position is crucial in providing an outstanding experience for every visitor at our establishment. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, managing their information, distributing keys and room assignments, and addressing any general inquiries to ensure a pleasant stay.

Compensation:

$15 - $16.05 hourly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all hotel guest accounts.
  • Handle room reservations in-person, online, and via phone, while responding to inquiries regarding guest needs, including room availability, amenities, rates, special requests, and loyalty programs.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are prepared for incoming guests.
  • Address customer complaints effectively when necessary.
  • Check in and check out guests, manage key distribution, and securely record payment information.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation management software.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in hospitality as a front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service representative.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle phone calls and manage stressful situations with ease.
