Logistics Coordinator - KCP

LACOSTA Facility Support Services is seeking a skilled forklift operator and warehouse team member for our operations.

Shift Details:
Day Shift: 6am-6pm (Mill)
Night Shift: 6pm-6am (Mill)
DC/Pinecrest Day Shift: 6:45am-6:15pm
DC/Pinecrest Night Shift: 6:15pm-5:45am
Compensation: $17.50/hr, paid weekly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates the efficient production and distribution of goods by retrieving orders from inventory, delivering necessary materials, and preparing finished products for shipment.
  • Contributes to the organized operation of the stock and materials storage area.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy by identifying, labeling, and tracking materials and supplies, while reporting any shortages.
  • Locates and verifies materials listed on production orders.
  • Packs materials for shipping efficiently.
  • Prepares outgoing stock by identifying, retrieving, loading, and securing products.
  • Records shipment details by documenting units dispatched.
  • Ensures the upkeep of material-handling equipment through regular pre-use inspections.
  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to transport products.
  • Maintains cleanliness in inventory, loading areas, and machinery.
  • Adheres to workplace safety regulations diligently.
Qualifications:
  • At least two years of prior forklift operation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret information effectively.
  • Capable of managing multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in prioritizing and meeting various deadlines.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy materials.
  • Computer skills are preferred.
  • Familiarity with voice picking systems or RF devices is advantageous.
Essential Functions:
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as ear plugs, Hi-Vis safety vest, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to alternate between standing and sitting throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Information / Benefits:
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings is required.
  • Physical demands include walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting independently.
  • Uniforms and PPE will be provided.
  • All jewelry and accessories must be removed during work hours.
