Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Director to join our team at Blue Star Partners LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading strategic projects that drive business outcomes and improve margins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance site performance.
  • Mentor stakeholders on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Prepare project reports and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Participate in external project management organizations to stay updated on industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of related work experience, with comprehensive knowledge of the functional area.
  • Minimum 4 years applying Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence tools.
  • Minimum 2 years in manufacturing operations, business improvement, or project management.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio, etc.) and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of applicable standards for a regulated environment preferred.
Competencies
  • Analytical Ability: Capable of assessing complex problems and evaluating data to find solutions.
  • Project Management Skills: Experienced in leading projects from inception to completion.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership: Experience in mentoring and developing less-experienced staff.
  • Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and creating actionable plans.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Focused on meeting the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using project management and operational tools effectively.
