Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mohs Laboratory Technician to join our team at Top Notch Mohs. As a Mohs Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our dermatologists by processing cancerous tissue in a laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commuting to client offices and setting up mobile lab equipment
  • Receiving and processing tissue specimens for examination
  • Preparing sections of human tissue for immediate examination using the frozen section technique
  • Freezing, cutting, mounting, and staining tissue specimens
  • Coverslipping slides and ensuring tissue and slide preparation meet laboratory requirements
Requirements
  • No prior Mohs experience required, but a strong interest in medical laboratory fields is essential
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs and Google Workspace
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to take initiative
