Job Summary:

The Clinical Nurse will provide specialized patient and family care to renal transplant recipients and living donors, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

About the Role:

As a Clinical Nurse on the Renal Transplant Unit, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the effects of nursing care for patients with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Maine
  • Basic knowledge of research-based nursing practices and principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
