Job Title: Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. As a key member of our Nuclear Medicine department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET and SPECT imaging, using various radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine.
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Nuclear Medicine and CT.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine, with a strong background in radiopharmaceuticals and imaging procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
