Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York. As a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for providing imaging services in the Nuclear Medicine department, ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

* Perform all nuclear medicine procedures required within the department, at both Jacobi and NCB sites.
* Proficient in the use of various equipment designed to measure and image radioactivity, including dose calibrators, hand-held radioactivity detectors, well counters, gamma cameras, and PET capable SPECT/CT scanners.
* Conduct quality control of all instruments and ensure safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials.
* Record keeping of radioactive material arrival and disposal, and determine radioactive material activity for use in imaging patients.
* Use equipment to produce and save interpretable images, and to use software to derive quantitative information from imaging data using dedicated software.

Requirements:

* One of the following certifications preferred: NMTCB (CT) or ARRT-(N)(CT).
* New graduates who are board-eligible can be considered.
* Must keep the New York State License up to date, with a minimum of 12 Continuing Education credits per year.
