Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to patients in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
  • Assist with the development and implementation of procedures to prevent medication errors

  • Perform CNA functions as directed by supervisors
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients
  • Assist with the evacuation of patients in emergency situations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
  • Current registration/licensure in applicable State
  • One year of geriatric nursing experience preferred
  • CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
  • Completed a State-approved program and exam for Certified Medication Aide
