The successful applicant will be able to communicate effectively with patients, address their concerns, and provide education on managing acute and occupational health issues.

Job Description:
  • Work Environment:
    • Dynamic team-based environment
    • Collaborative approach to patient care
  • Responsibilities:
    • Examine and treat episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and work-related health problems
    • Perform specialized occupation health exams, including Department of Transportation (DOT) and Sheriff Standard fitness for duty exams
    • Manage work-related injuries and illnesses, providing treatment and coordinating return-to-work plans
    • Develop and implement health and safety programs to promote a healthy work environment
    • Provide guidance on occupational health regulations, compliance, and best practices
  • Requirements:
    • Education: Accredited nurse practitioner program or physician assistant program
    • Licensure: Active, unrestricted license and approval to practice as an APRN or PA-C
    • Board Certification: National Board Certification as FNP or PA-C
    • Experience: Previous experience in acute care and occupational medicine preferred
    • Skills: Proficiency in acute care, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently
    Salary and Benefits:
    • Estimated salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience
