The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day engineering operations in the lodge. This includes project management, general life safety, ordering, and working with vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel guestrooms, public spaces, equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment, including pumps, motors, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Maintain a safe and timely work environment, adhering to standards of safety and effective equipment utilization.
• Ensure all work performed is conducted in accordance with departmental safety procedures and standards.
• Maintain working knowledge of departmental safety procedures and attend safety-training programs as required.
• Maintain necessary service records on mechanical and structural systems.
• Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed for park operation, employee relations, timekeeping, and safety.
Requirements:
• Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Trade-related certifications in HVAC and/or electrical preferred.
• Hospitality, healthcare, or related industry experience.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.
• Valid driver's license.
