Position: ACH Operations Analyst
Location: Johnston, RI
Duration: 6 months
Compensation: $22.00/hr.
Role Overview:
The ACH Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in managing the daily automated clearing house origination and receipt processes. This position is essential for ensuring the seamless transmission of files from clients' originators to the clearing house. The Analyst will also provide vital administrative support for both ODFI (Origination Depository Financial Institution) and RDFI (Receiving Depository Financial Institution) functions. Given the fast-paced nature of the department, which is governed by SLAs linked to NACHA, precision and meticulous attention to detail are paramount due to the direct impact on customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tasks associated with Receiving Depository Functions.
- Provide direct support via phone and email for ACH Operations, utilizing effective communication skills to assist corporate clients and internal personnel.
- Investigate and resolve inquiries related to ACH accounts from both internal and external sources.
- Execute routine responsibilities specific to departmental functions and activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Comply with bank policies and departmental procedures.
- Assist the team in achieving daily and monthly objectives.
- Exhibit strong time management skills and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and understand new systems and software.
- Show reliability, flexibility, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Be willing to train on more complex functions related to the Origination side.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Financial Operations.
- Knowledge of systems and products is preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient typing speed and accuracy.
- Familiarity with MS Office Outlook.
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Education:
- Associate's Degree preferred.
