Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech and Feeding Specialist to join our team. This role involves delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy to children from birth to 21 years, focusing on various communication disorders and feeding challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language capabilities, providing tailored treatment plans for children with diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage dysphagia and other feeding disorders.
  • Educate families about swallowing and feeding issues, ensuring they are equipped with knowledge and resources.
  • Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices as needed to enhance communication.
  • Engage patients in multi-sensory and functional activities to promote skill development and independence.
  • Document patient progress accurately and maintain up-to-date electronic medical records.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Tennessee State SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.
  • Compassionate, courageous, and faith-driven approach to therapy.
