About the Role

ECS Midwest, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Services Manager to join our team. As a Field Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the calibration of field equipment, ensuring proper inventory maintenance and organization of supplies, and promoting a safety culture within the Field Services department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Management: Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for technicians, including the calibration of field equipment and inventory management.
  • Communication and Scheduling: Manage field services scheduling operations, ensuring that schedule requests are met, and daily review of field reports.
  • Training and Development: Supervise, lead, and mentor field services staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Financial Performance: Ensure the Field Services group operates within budget, managing financial performance and making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of related experience in conducting laboratory testing, construction observation, field quality assurance testing, site grading, and supervising construction materials testing (CMT).
  • Must have and be willing to maintain basic certifications.
  • Advanced certifications may be required based on the work performed.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
  • Expert understanding of construction materials testing principles, applications, and ASTM testing standards.
  • Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors and to build a team.
