· Conduct thorough inspections of products, components, incoming materials, and assemblies utilizing essential inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and indicators.

· Record and report any deviations from specifications through computerized quality documentation systems.

· Adhere to established processes and procedures to guarantee compliance with quality standards.

· Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure that inspection equipment is appropriate, calibrated, and functioning as necessary.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· A high school diploma or GED is required.

· Prior experience in the machining sector is preferred.

· Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles is beneficial.

· Intermediate computer proficiency, including familiarity with basic operating systems and the ability to swiftly learn computerized quality documentation systems.

· Experience with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and indicators is advantageous.

· Specific training in machining from a technical school, community college, or military program is preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

In the course of performing job duties, employees are frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers for handling or feeling, reach with hands and arms, and climb or balance at heights that may necessitate a ladder or lift. Employees may also need to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces, and communicate effectively. Occasionally, employees are required to sit. The role may involve lifting and/or moving items exceeding 50 pounds. Regular close vision and color vision are essential. Employees may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and the risk of electrical shock. The work environment is typically loud and may involve exposure to hazardous materials and/or slippery factory floors.
