Job Title: BAS Controls Specialist

Location: Pacific Northwest region

Job Overview:

As a BAS Controls Specialist, you will lead the planning, installation, and coordination of building automation systems (BAS) at job sites, directing subcontractors and managing logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead BAS Installation (30%): Oversee the planning, installation, and coordination of BAS/HVAC control systems at job sites.
  • Startup, Commissioning, and Closeout (40%): Test, troubleshoot, and commission BAS systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communication and Reporting (20%): Provide daily progress and safety reports to clients, subcontractors, and project managers.
  • Engineering Support (10%): Assist with proposals, site surveys, and audits to ensure the highest quality in every project.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on BAS experience with extensive knowledge of Distech Controls and Tridium Niagara platforms.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, controls wiring, and ability to interpret construction and shop drawings.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and serve as the main point of contact for clients.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% to job sites across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
