Position Overview:

The Retail Operations Leader is accountable for overseeing all aspects of store management, collaborating closely with the management team to ensure effective program execution and product delivery. This role emphasizes optimizing operational efficiencies, managing inventory, and ensuring high standards in food services, product ordering, receiving, and rotation, as well as maintaining quality in both raw and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

  • Deliver exceptional, prompt, and courteous service to all customers.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ensure compliance with customer service programs.
  • Recognize and respond to customer needs effectively.
  • Address customer concerns to guarantee satisfaction at the store level.
  • Maintain professional appearance and ensure staff adherence to dress standards.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor store personnel to execute programs and uphold food safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership behaviors.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through respectful treatment of employees.
  • Ensure consistent quality in food service through effective training and communication.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate staff meetings.
  • Encourage personal development for team members and oneself.

Operational Management:

  • Assume responsibility for store performance and shift coverage.
  • Develop and manage store schedules to optimize labor efficiency.
  • Oversee cleaning schedules to comply with sanitation standards.
  • Supervise workflow and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Product Management:

  • Manage product ordering processes and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Ensure all received products meet quality and temperature standards.
  • Alert management regarding any product-related issues.

Merchandising and Promotions:

  • Achieve sales objectives through effective merchandising strategies.
  • Maintain promotional signage and ensure product visibility.
  • Adhere to pricing accuracy and promotional standards.

Inventory Control:

  • Implement inventory control measures as per company guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and manage spoilage effectively.

Sanitation Standards:

  • Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
  • Monitor food service areas for cleanliness and adherence to standards.

Financial Accountability:

  • Prepare and verify financial documents and cash handling procedures.
  • Submit payroll information accurately and on time.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to: District Supervisor
Supervises: All store staff

Essential Skills:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, lead a team, and maintain a productive store environment. Proficiency in using technology and performing basic mathematical calculations is required.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, with the expectation of flexibility in hours to meet operational needs.
