Position Overview

Gale Associates, Inc., a distinguished national engineering and planning firm with a legacy of excellence, is seeking a seasoned Aviation Systems Engineer to enhance our Aviation Engineering Group.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key Aviation Systems Engineer on diverse projects focused on the design and development of airport infrastructure for both public and private sector clients.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, coupled with 5-8 years of relevant experience in airport engineering.
  • Successful completion of the FE exam, with aspirations for professional licensure and a keen interest in advancing to project management roles.
  • Proficient design skills in areas such as grading, drainage, and utilities, along with hands-on experience in navigating federal, state, and local permitting processes (including environmental and zoning regulations).
  • Familiarity with FAA and state regulations, including a solid understanding of FAA Advisory Circulars.
  • Strong computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D) and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
