We are looking for an experienced School Speech and Language Professional to join our team at New Hanover County Schools. As a Pediatric Communication Specialist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to develop and implement effective communication strategies.

Your expertise in speech and language therapy will enable you to identify areas where students need additional support and provide targeted interventions to promote academic success.

This is a regular 10-month contract position with full benefits. To qualify, you must have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, and a valid NC driver's license. Eligibility for a NC SLP teaching license is also required.

The salary for this position ranges from $7,000 to $12,000 annually, based on the NC Psychologist Salary Scale and local Board-approved supplement. Your level of experience will determine your monthly compensation, up to $1,200 per month.
