The Progressive Care Unit (Unit 25) is a specialized 52-bed unit catering to adult patients with neurological and cardiac conditions. Our nursing team is equipped to manage a wide range of medical issues, including acute strokes and cardiac ailments, throughout all stages of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
The patient demographic includes individuals aged 18 and older, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5 to 1, allowing for personalized and attentive care.
Position Overview:As a Senior Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and knowledgeable clinical care while coordinating treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective nursing care in a holistic manner, ensuring that patient and family preferences are integrated into care plans.
- Utilize effective communication and technology to enhance care delivery and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care environment.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution, with completion required within 24 months of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred within the first 3 months of employment.
