Field Survey Technician

Compensation: $33 per hour
POSITION OVERVIEW: This role, under close supervision, offers foundational technical assistance in various domains including OMAT, maintenance, construction, intermodal, planning, utilities, surveying, environmental, or traffic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support diverse transportation engineering functions with general oversight.
- Focus on a particular specialty within the assigned tasks, engaging both indoors and outdoors.
- Entry-level position within the Engineering/Technology sector.
- May require further training or experience to fully comprehend all job duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Acquire knowledge of routine engineering support activities for the designated program area.
- Effectively interpret manuals and guidelines.
- Operate necessary equipment and instruments with training.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data.
- Able to lift 50lbs and traverse 5 or more miles on uneven surfaces.
- Exhibit basic mathematical skills and a dedication to exceptional customer service.
