About the Role

This full-time position involves teaching OB and med/surg courses to students in a collegiate environment. The ideal candidate will have recent bedside experience in OB and/or med/surg, with no prior teaching experience required but must have a Master of Nursing or higher degree from an accredited college or university that includes course work in nursing or education, administration, OB, Pediatrics.

Responsibilities include collaborating with other instructors to prepare examinations, participating in strategic planning, and implementing orientation for new faculty. You will also utilize principles of teaching that recognize the characteristics of the adult learner and make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction.
