Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Eataly North America. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling payment and ensuring accurate accounting of all transactions, collections, and disbursements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect cash, checks, or charge payments from guests and provide change and charge vouchers as needed.
  • Verify the accuracy of the cash bank by counting cash, checks, and charge payments at the end of each shift.
  • Obtain and review information regarding price changes to ensure accurate transactions.
  • Verify employee discounts, returns, exchanges, and voids with the assistance of the manager or shift lead.
  • Return carts and baskets to their central distribution areas, take back go-backs/damages, fix displays, help restock, and support team members.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in transactions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
