Starting Pay: $11.00/hour plus Tips (Available for Full-Time and Part-Time)

ROLE SUMMARY: The Food Hall Cashier is responsible for delivering friendly and efficient service to all patrons at our dining establishments. This position is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction, which encourages repeat visits. As a front-line representative, the Cashier is often the first point of contact for guests and is expected to provide prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established procedures. Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide excellent service. Calculate totals and present guests with their bills.
  • Operate the cash register accurately and process payments. Ensure proper handling of cash and provide change as needed.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer control and adhere to variance policies.
  • Assist other team members in service roles as necessary.
  • Record all tips received from credit card transactions.
  • Address and resolve any guest inquiries or concerns.
  • Keep all guest areas tidy and organized.
  • Comply with appearance standards and serve as a role model for fellow employees.
  • Adhere to attendance guidelines and follow all regulatory and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED is required. A minimum of one year of customer service experience is preferred.
  • Previous cashier experience, particularly in the hospitality sector, is essential.
  • Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain a professional appearance.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to navigate all areas of the assigned restaurant throughout the shift. Must efficiently process cash transactions.
  • Ability to work in environments with secondary smoke exposure. Must thrive in fast-paced and high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required. Must respond to visual and auditory cues.
GAMING PERMIT: Not Required
