Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Burr Remodeling Inc. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for efficiently completing tasks independently and as directed by your supervisor. In addition to having frame to finish Carpentry skills, you should exhibit:

  • Good oral & written communication skills
  • A strong desire to get things done in a timely, efficient & safe way
Key ResponsibilitiesProduce projects as directed, per Burr Remodeling's expectations of quality
  • Complete tasks profitably and on time
  • Provide customer satisfaction and communication
  • Maintain job-site cleanliness & organization
  • Perform all aspects of carpentry labor
  • Maintain and account for tools and materials being used on projects
  • Be organized and maintain one's own digital timecard
  • Reports to Lead Carpenter
Specific DutiesPerform all carpentry labor and maintain job-site safety procedures
  • Maintain clean and tidy job premises at all times, including dust protection, daily cleanup, organized tool and material storage, trash removal, and final cleanup
  • Maintain all personal and company tools
  • Protect all of the customer's property
  • Be able to lift and use safely all tools and materials necessary in the construction trade
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds up a ladder to a second – story roof on a continuous basis and work productively and safely at all required working heights
  • Perform other job duties and responsibilities as needed and requested by the Lead Carpenter, including progress photos and updates on jobsite tasks
RequirementsWe are looking for a candidate with:
  • High School level or Trade school preferred, but not required
  • 3 - 5 years of Carpentery experience or Apprenticeship
  • General inventory of hand and basic power tools
  • Solid understanding of layout and blueprints
  • Some knowledge of basic building codes and mechanical requirements
