Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner. As an APRN at Abode Care Partners, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based medical care to patients with chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other health concerns.

Responsibilities

  • You will plan, direct, and evaluate patient medical needs by performing comprehensive assessments and developing individualized care plans.
  • As a healthcare professional, you will examine and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed, and collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals in providing interdisciplinary care.
  • Another key aspect of your role will be to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, ensuring seamless communication among the care team.
  • You will also refer patients to other healthcare practitioners when necessary and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A valid state-issued license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Current National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Active DEA licensure
  • A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • A minimum of five years of experience in nursing, preferably with two or more years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage daily workflow efficiently
  • Proficiency in medical instruments and equipment
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA regulations and adherence to standards for maintaining patient confidentiality and workplace safety
  • Working knowledge of electronic medical record systems and computer-based data management programs
  • A valid driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Ability to engage in moderate physical activity, such as lifting objects up to 25 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods

  • A competitive salary ranging between $100,000 and $120,000 per year, with a total earnings potential of $130,000+ based on performance
