Position Overview

As a Retail Operations Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the General Manager in the development of strategic initiatives and ensuring effective execution to drive profitability. In the absence of the General Manager, you will be a key decision-maker, responsible for maintaining operational excellence and upholding the highest standards of brand integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in evaluating business trends and formulating strategic plans for your store.
  • Educate your team on sales performance metrics and available resources.
  • Ensure a consistent customer experience that aligns with Ralph Lauren's brand expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of client engagement strategies and lead community outreach efforts.
  • Implement the talent strategy in collaboration with the General Manager to build a customer-centric team.
  • Drive recruitment and networking initiatives within your market.
  • Engage in ongoing talent development discussions, providing coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Maintain high productivity standards through effective process management and inventory control.
  • Promote the use of innovative technology to enhance sales techniques and shopping experiences.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide insights to the General Manager & District Director regarding profit potential and market trends.
  • Ensure that store standards consistently exceed expectations.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that reflects Ralph Lauren's core values.
Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in retail management or a similar field within a high-volume environment is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff.
  • Physical capability to navigate the sales floor and perform various tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proven success in building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong business acumen and effective time management skills.
