Primary Care Physician

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team in Littleton, CO. As a member of our Optum Care Delivery team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.
As a Primary Care Physician, you will provide full scope primary care services, including examining, diagnosing, and treating patients for acute and chronic conditions. You will also counsel and educate patients and families about their health, complete timely and thorough documentation, and formulate diagnostic and treatment plans.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a guaranteed base salary, quality and productivity bonuses, and a $50k sign on bonus. You will also have access to professional liability insurance, CME reimbursement, and paid parental leave.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full scope primary care services, including examining, diagnosing, and treating patients for acute and chronic conditions
- Counsel and educate patients and families about their health
- Complete timely and thorough documentation
- Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans
- Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and procedures
- Order lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan
Requirements:
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Completed an accredited residency in Family Medicine
- Board certified in FM or Board Eligible for Medical Residents
- Active Colorado Medical License or ability to obtain prior to employment
- Active DEA or ability to obtain prior to employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in providing patient care under a population health model
