We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Actalent. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood samples from patients, ensuring accurate and efficient laboratory testing.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and process blood samples from patients, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
- Label and centrifuge specimens, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Record maintenance data and update patient information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Decontaminate equipment and work areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff, providing clear and concise information.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely testing, maintaining high-quality results.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy certification or training preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
