Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Financial Aid. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students and families, reviewing and processing financial aid applications, and supporting the operation of the Financial Aid Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide frontline customer support and service to students and families regarding financial aid
  • Review and process financial aid applications, including needs analysis, packaging, and verification
  • Assist with student and parent loan processing, and generate financial aid reports as needed
  • Present financial aid information and workshops to students and families
  • Remain informed and updated on state and federal financial aid regulations
  • Collaborate with other Enrollment Services areas to promote teamwork and resource sharing
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with two to four years of experience in a Financial Aid Office
  • Administrative experience in higher education desired
  • Knowledge of Title IV financial aid regulations
  • Understanding and comprehension of federal tax returns
  • Experience with Banner and PowerFAIDS preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
