Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Operations Manager to lead our Automotive Repair Team in South Philadelphia, PA. As an Automotive Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring Repair Technicians, ensuring accurate and professional repairs, and maintaining excellent customer communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor Repair Technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform repairs accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify that all repairs and maintenance are completed accurately and in a professional manner, and as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures or accepted industry practices.
  • Supervise and ensure continuous implementation and adherence to all AAA Car Care policies and procedures.
  • Verify that all repairs are properly completed by re-testing repaired systems to ensure proper function, and road test vehicles as necessary to identify concerns or validate repair.
  • Accurately complete paperwork, including repair information on work orders, and information for state and emission inspections, including waivers and exemptions, etc.
  • Assist in the hiring and evaluation of Repair Technicians and training and development of Repair Technicians and Service Advisors.
  • Open and close Car Care store and ensure adequate scheduling of same.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree in Automotive Technology or ASE Certification a plus)
  • 4 years experience in the automotive repair industry
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • The ability to complete a satisfactory Pre-Employment Screening if offered the position
