Job Summary

Timmons Group is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Surveyor to join our Survey Group in Staunton, VA. The successful candidate will manage and perform design-related surveying projects using relevant office software, modeling, and CADD technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage assigned projects, including marketing, client development, technical quality, profitability, schedule, and project staff coordination.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare proposals, negotiate scopes and fees, and bill clients.
  • Client Relationships: Maintain superior relationships with clients and cross-sell Timmons Group services.
  • Technical Skills: Perform calculations using surveying formulas and skills, and utilize computers to solve problems.
Requirements
  • Civil 3D, MicroStation, or equivalent CAD software experience.
  • Leica, Trimble, or equivalent survey data reduction software experience.
  • Machine Control Models creation experience.
  • GPS/RTK technology experience.
  • Preference for Laser Scanning Technology experience.
  • Project accounting and budget management experience.
  • Client development and supervision experience.
