Position Overview

Dane Street, LLC is actively enhancing our panel of medical professionals. As a recognized Independent Review Organization, we specialize in providing Independent Medical Exams (IMEs) and are now expanding our offerings to include Federal Exam Services tailored for the military and veteran community.

Your role as a Physician Reviewer is crucial in supporting our local veterans and ensuring they have streamlined access to their benefits. Your expertise will not only provide valuable insights but also contribute significantly to the well-being of those who have served our nation.

  • User-Friendly Processes: Benefit from a streamlined case flow and an intuitive work portal.

This position allows for various time commitments, including full days, half-days, or shorter 2-hour slots, depending on your availability. On full days, you may conduct between 8 to 16 examinations. With a current backlog of cases, there are ample opportunities to schedule multiple days each week or month based on your preferences.

Active state licensure is required. If you have not yet completed VA training, our team will assist you in this process upon joining our reviewer panel.

Reporting and Documentation

The process for recording results and reporting is straightforward and conducted through a user-friendly, web-based portal. Comprehensive orientation and training will be provided, and all scheduling will be managed for you. While clinic exam space may be available in some instances, most examinations will take place at your clinic location.

Job Summary

As a Physician Reviewer/Advisor for Federal exams, you will review medical records, perform physical examinations, and address clinical inquiries regarding patient diagnoses, care plans, and disability assessments. Engaging with independent clinicians who possess this expertise is vital to the process. To protect your time, no-show and cancellation fees are established.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

On a contract basis, during the designated days, you will:

  • Review all medical records.
  • Conduct physical examinations (8-16 per day).
  • Utilize your clinical expertise to address questions and concerns by inputting responses into the portal.

All referral processes, scheduling, case preparation, and medical record organization will be handled for you, allowing you to focus on your clinical responsibilities.
