Position Overview:
The Chief Accounting Office is on the lookout for a motivated and results-driven Accounting Manager to become a vital part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee accounting functions related to pension plans and equity awards, ensuring accuracy in journal entries and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data pertaining to pensions, post-retirement benefits, and equity-based awards.
  • Manage the preparation of annual financial statements for retirement plans and maintain effective relationships with external auditors.
  • Research and apply relevant accounting standards, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  • Prepare and review financial disclosures for regulatory filings.
  • Supervise and mentor offshore staff, providing constructive feedback on their work.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is competitive, reflecting the skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, we offer performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting.

Preferred:
  • CPA certification.
  • Experience with pension plan accounting and equity awards.
  • Familiarity with financial services industry practices.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office products.
