Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Naval Facilities Engineering Command. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex construction projects in various geographic locations, ensuring compliance with contract plans, specifications, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Conduct site investigations to collect pertinent data and respond to requests for information.
  • Monitor construction activity to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Manage the technical submittal process to ensure submittals meet contract requirements.
  • Review construction project parameters to recommend changes that will improve overall project results.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field, and at least one year of specialized experience in construction project management. You must also have a strong understanding of engineering principles, contract management, and project scheduling.

Additionally, you will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors, designers, and other stakeholders. You must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
