Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transportation Coordinator to provide safe transportation for clients.

About the Job

This is a safety-sensitive function requiring a valid AR driver's license, clean driving record, and state minimum liability insurance. The ideal candidate will have one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Turn in gas credit slips and Medicaid transportation forms daily.
  • Maintain bus cleanliness according to a monthly schedule.
  • Immediately report transportation-related incidents to supervisors.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings.
  • Provide safe transportation for clients.
  • Familiarize yourself with FCC and FPS policies and procedures.
  • Assist with taking clients to their classrooms.
  • Complete required training in a timely manner.
  • Assist with vehicle delivery/pickup at the shop.
  • Fill out work orders for vehicle maintenance requests and other issues.
  • Ensure updated bus route directions are always available on the bus.
  • Verify that no children remain on the bus at the end of morning/afternoon routes.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain records for review.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid AR driver's license required.
  • Clean driving record necessary.
  • State minimum liability insurance required.
Working Conditions

The noise level in this environment is generally moderate.

This position requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Able to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear regularly.

Close vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus are essential.
