**About The Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Clinician Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.

About the Position:

This role is designed to provide comprehensive clinical patient care across the continuum, ensuring quality patient outcomes as a member of our Palliative Care & Rehabilitation Medicine team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough symptom assessments using physical exam skills and assessment tools.
  • Collaborate with team physicians to develop treatment plans.
  • Participate in collecting and documenting patient data in the medical record.
  • Utilize organizational skills to ensure continuity of care across the continuum.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, emphasizing comfort and quality of life.
  • Liaise with other disciplines through planning, education, and coordination of services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Mastery in Nursing or Doctoral degree in Physician Assistant studies.
  • Written authorization from the Texas Board of Nursing to function as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
  • BLS certification and PALS certification if working in Pediatric - Patient Care department.

Compensation and Benefits:

**Estimated Annual Salary:** $144,000
