Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee design and planning tasks, conducting structural analysis and design with a focus on Ohio highway structures.
  • Effectively manage project scope, design modifications, and ensure adherence to budget and schedule throughout project assignments.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities for junior staff and colleagues engaged in similar work.
  • Facilitate close collaboration with project team members while conducting independent quality control and assurance reviews.
  • Engage with clients to foster business growth and maintain strong relationships, keeping them informed of potential opportunities.
  • Represent WSP at relevant professional society meetings and present at conferences as appropriate.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in Ohio, with the capability to obtain registration in other states.
  • Over 10 years of experience in bridge engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a department or project team.
  • Strong technical expertise in structural analysis and design of various bridge structures.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment on complex projects, leading design teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
