Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of production processes, ensuring compliance with established procedures and policies.
  • Lead and direct production and maintenance employees, team leaders, and technicians to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement activities to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Schedule resources and prioritize activities to ensure efficient production schedule compliance.
  • Communicate and report production and process performance metrics to production teams and other functional leaders.
  • Perform performance reviews and develop career and talent development plans for employees.
  • Ensure the protection of Corning's Intellectual Assets (IA).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or management-related field.
  • At least 3 years of production or engineering-related working experience, with a minimum of 2 years of supervision experience.
  • Familiarity with production process/equipment management.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate plant goals through production, technology, QA, and SCM functions.
  • Knowledge of ISO management system and process trouble shooting & prevention.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good project management skills (DMAIC).
  • Basic understanding of financial knowledge.
  • Fluent and professional English language skills.
