Position Overview
We are currently seeking a talented Project Architect Lead who is passionate about design and has a strong focus on healthcare projects. This role involves leading architectural initiatives and collaborating with a team of skilled professionals to achieve design excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the coordination of architectural projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and team members to meet project objectives and timelines.
- Contribute to the design development process, transforming conceptual ideas into viable design solutions.
- Create and review architectural drawings, plans, and specifications for design development.
- Lead the preparation of construction documents, ensuring precision and adherence to relevant codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, designers, engineers, and contractors, to foster effective communication and coordination.
- Stay updated on building codes, zoning regulations, and other standards to ensure compliance throughout the project.
- Implement quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of architectural deliverables.
- Support the construction administration phase by addressing on-site challenges and ensuring design intent is maintained.
- Mentor junior staff members, promoting their professional growth and development.
- Assist in managing project budgets and schedules, monitoring progress and addressing potential issues as they arise.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience.
- A strong interest in healthcare project types within a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp, Enscape, and other graphic tools is preferred.
- Strong graphic skills in both 2D and 3D formats.
- Previous experience in healthcare design and familiarity with OSHPD/HCAI or DSA regulations is highly desirable.
