Job Summary

The Patient Access Service Representative plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences. This individual will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and providing outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively greet patients and visitors, creating a positive and friendly experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient needs and concerns
  • Manage front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and EpicCare
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of experience as a receptionist/assistant or in a customer service field
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not necessary
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
