Job Title: Physical Therapist/ H1

Novatohc is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support activities that contribute to the outstanding outcomes of our therapy department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients to restore and enhance independent function.
  • Communicate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Document services in medical records and contribute to professional development and safe working practices.
  • Provide patient treatments, including performing accurate evaluations, developing effective treatment plans, and supervising assistants/aides.
  • Write accurate documentation, including records of evaluations, treatment notes, progress, and discharge summaries.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate findings, patient and family input, and prepare for conferences.
  • Participate in professional development, including continuing education, interacting with peers, and presenting at conferences.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Physical Therapist Registration/State Licensure as required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
  • Ability to work with all types of patients and excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift and transfer patients, lift approximately 50-70 pounds, perform CPR, and use hands for grasping and manipulation.
  • Spends time bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, and walking.
