Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at MarinHealth Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal, skin, or neurological conditions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients using various range of motion, muscle, neurological, visual, or functional tests to determine the degree of impairment and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
- Administer direct patient care, utilizing physical therapy techniques as indicated.
- Provide instruction to patients, their families, and caregivers regarding self-care and home programs.
- Act as a consultant to physicians and other healthcare workers regarding physical function, treatment programs, precautions, and adaptive equipment.
- Delegate and supervise patient treatment provided by non-professional and support personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- One year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist in an ambulatory setting or equivalent.
