As a crucial member of our expanding Food & Beverage and Events team, Event Hospitality Specialists are responsible for delivering exceptional service and beverage experiences to our members and guests at NeueHouse.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage + Private Events team, Event Hospitality Specialists embody the spirit of NeueHouse, showcasing expertise in coffee, tea, table, and cocktail service.
Our specialists are committed to providing warmth, hospitality, and grace in every interaction with members, guests, and the public. They are attentive, engaging, and proactive in enhancing the F&B and Private Event experience while authentically promoting the NeueHouse brand.
At NeueHouse, we operate with a collaborative mindset, believing that no task is too small. Event Hospitality Specialists must navigate ambiguity and be prepared to support various departments in fulfilling the needs of the venue.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver personalized and thoughtful service to build rapport with members and guests.
- Prepare the event space in accordance with the event function sheet provided by the production team.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of food and beverage displays.
- Return all event supplies to their designated locations promptly after events.
- Possess a thorough understanding of menus and effectively communicate with guests.
- Utilize POS systems for ordering and billing accurately.
- Execute service orders promptly and accurately to create memorable experiences.
- Oversee the entire service cycle from greeting to payment processing.
- Prepare food and beverages to meet NeueHouse standards.
- Maintain communication with the prep kitchen to ensure stock levels are adequate.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Organize and manage event supply storage efficiently.
- Engage with members and guests regarding NeueHouse's offerings and events.
We seek candidates who possess:
- Previous experience in event service (preferred).
- Proficiency in brewing methods and espresso machines.
- The ability to lift and move various weights as required.
- Strong attendance and punctuality.
- Dependability in following instructions and completing tasks.
- Exceptional customer service skills and responsiveness to member needs.
- Teamwork skills with the ability to balance individual and team responsibilities.
- A proactive approach to resolving issues and clear communication with members and colleagues.
